Organic & Sustainable Probiotic Farming
It’s our duty to preserve the world’s natural resources and maintain a healthy soil microbiome.
Healthy plants need healthy soil to thrive, and so does our planet! Healthy soil helps to trap excess carbon that would otherwise contribute to climate change. Our 300 year old orchards have never been and we’ll never treat it with artificial fertilisers or chemicals.
Encouraging Biodiversity
Key to protecting the land for future generations is encouraging biodiversity; a variety of wild plant and animal life. Around 70% of the UK’s land is farmed, so it’s essential that we’re doing our part to keep the wildlife in our area thriving and happy. Some of the ways we’re doing this is:
• The farm is home to honeybees who pollinate our apple trees, and the flowers and plants around the farm.
• We plant a wide variety of wild flowers and herbs in spring to attract lots of insects.
• The orchards are home to many bird species that help us control pests.
Natural Ingredients
We continually strive to make our products greener, using as many natural ingredients as possible.
• Our range of apple cider vinegars are made from 100% natural ingredients.
• We continuously review our existing recipes to see if any improvements can be made.
Reducing our Carbon Footprint
We’re actively working to reduce our CO2 footprint throughout our supply chain and production.
• Our manufacturing site is fully powered by solar energy.
• We source as much as we can from suppliers that are closer to home to reduce transport and therefore CO2 footprint.
