Willys Apple Balsamic Baked Figs

Ingedients

  • 8 fresh ripe figs, halved

  • 3 tbsp Willy’s Apple Balsamic Vinegar

  • 2 tbsp Willy’s Live Original Apple Cider Vinegar

  • 2 tbsp runny honey (or maple syrup for vegan option)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • A handful of crushed walnuts (for garnish)

  • Fresh thyme sprigs (for garnish)

  • Pinch of sea salt

Method

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

Slice figs in half and arrange them cut side up in a shallow baking dish.

In a small bowl, whisk together the Willy’s Apple Balsamic, ACV, honey, olive oil, and a pinch of salt.

Drizzle the mixture generously over the figs, coating each piece.

Bake for 15–20 minutes until the figs are soft, bubbling, and slightly caramelised at the edges.

Remove from oven and sprinkle with crushed walnuts and fresh thyme sprigs.

Serve warm as a light dessert, a side for cheese boards, or spooned over Greek yoghurt.
